Ricoh has introduced a brand new compact, durable and affordable black-and-white printer for those who are on the lookout for a device that can deliver higher levels of productivity – be it at places such as small offices, small businesses or even corporate departments. We are referring to the Ricoh SP 6430DN printer that has the ability to deliver up to 38 pages per minute, and this is made possible using Ricoh’s new LED imaging technology. Such technology will be able to offer up to 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution without any kind of loss of print speed, and it is more than capable of handling paper sizes up to 11” x 17” on a wide range of media. In other words, this little printer that could will be able to help businesses save time and money through the production of larger-format drawings, floor plans and schematics in house.
The Ricoh SP 6430DN will come with some pretty powerful technology, and this includes printing from smartphones as well as tablets, thanks to the Ricoh Smart Device Print&Scan app, and this goes some way to advance customers’ information mobility. There will also be optional Ricoh App for Google Cloud Print that enables the printer to support Google Cloud Print, and this in turn allows the device to be available on the Web to owners as well as anyone else should they choose to print from the applications that they use every day.
Definitely a printer that is compact, but not as small as some other printers that we have seen in the past. It has a compact dimension of 18” x 15.5” x 14”, and is tiny enough to fit on a desktop, which would make it a rather large advantage for small office environments or workgroups. A trio of optional paper trays would mean that the printer is capable of handling up to 2,100 sheets of paper. In addition, there is a two-component supply design that enables separate changing of the toner or drum in order to help minimize operating costs.
