US Galaxy Note 4 Lollipop Android update
Sprint Galaxy Note 4 Lollipop update
Android 5.0.1 is now rolling out to Sprint in the US. Android 5.0.1 presents only a minor upgrade over the initial version of Lollipop (5.0), with no significant changes to the general UI. It is nonetheless a more stable and secure version of the software and free from many of the Android Lollipop problems that initially plagued devices.
Sprint's Lollipop upgrade package is a big file, so make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi and your phone is charged to at least 50 percent before downloading. Check your software update page (settings > about phone) now to see if your handset is ready to be upgraded.
AT&T Galaxy Note 4 Lollipop update
After Sprint rolled out the update in early March, AT&T was next in line to push out Lollipop OTA. The download comes in at 1.2 GB and will bring all of the regular Lollipop improvements like the Material Design layout and lock-screen notifications. The 0.1 portion of the update includes some general security and bug fixes, as well as service additions like "find my mobile" and "reactivation lock".
Check your settings > about phone > software update page to see if you can download the update OTA yet, and remember to connect to Wi-Fi and charge your battery to at least 50 percent before beginning the download.
